Gamers keep score. After all, that’s how you can tell when you’ve won. Thirdfloorgamers also keep score and can earn ranks of varying degrees through their participation in Game Club, Summer Camp, and web content contributions.

There are a number of ways one can increase his or her rank in the club. For every five theaters of operations (Game Nights) a member attends, a promotion in rank is earned. Becoming an active member here on the web earns each member gold dubloons toward a promotion. Writing and creating reviews, videocasts, podcasts, and comments on other members’ posts can get members promoted – the more you write and contribute, the faster you rise to the top of the rankings. This summer, attending Victory Points and/or Stay Sharp will increase your rank (and earn you a really cool badge on your profile). And, of course, you earn a promotion for WINNING special tournaments and Summer Camp challenges.
