As Saji said in his review of Betrayal Claudia, Ishan, Saji, my sister (Susanna) and I rented some games on friday. One of the games we rented was Power Grid . Power Grid is a long strategy game where you and your opponents are electric company’s. Your is to power as many cities as possible, to do this you buy power plants and cities but if you bid on a power plant and you don’t get it you still have to pay the money you bid. Also you have to pay for the resources that your power plant uses. This game makes you think a lot about what you should do, like if you see a shiny new power plant you have to think: will those resources be expensive in the future? Is that power plant really worth that much? Is that city really the best place to locate? I think that this game should be played more in game club. It doesn’t matter if you don’t finish. It doesn’t matter if you don’t get a very long snack break. It doesn’t matter if Saji and Claudia didn’t do the best job teaching it. At least you got to play a game that I would say is an amazing game. The last thing I can say about this game is that I liked it so much that I went out and bought a copy of it.
